In the first quarter JSC Azerenergy distribution networks consumed 1.8 billion kilowatt hours of electricity, Azerenergy said.
According to data, total payment for the consumed electricity reached about 77 percent. In particular, the population’s consumption declined by 34.8 million kilowatt-hours reaching over 675 million kilowatt-hours as compared to the same period last year. Payment by the population increased by 7.9 percent to about 81 percent, as compared to the same period last year.
In March, distribution networks consumed more than 591.7 million kilowatt-hours of electricity. The total payment during the period amounted to more than 79 percent, increasing by seven percent.
