Azerbaijan, Turkey to continue cooperation in state planning

Azerbaijan  and Turkey are conducting research to create a general equilibrium model to predict Azerbaijan’s socioeconomic indicators, Director of the Economic Research Institute at the Azerbaijani Economic Development Ministry Vilayat Veliyev told reporters on Thursday.

"Work is underway to strengthen the scientific base of the social and economic policy and create a model of equilibrium prices upon the Azerbaijani president’s order," he said.

Veliyev said the work is carried out by the ministry with the Turkish State Planning Organization.
