Azerbaijan attends RCU meeting in Minsk

Today, the 4th meeting of working group on standardization in Information technologies under the Regional Communication Union’s Commission on Informatization and 25th meeting of RCU Commission on Informatization have started in Minsk, Belarus.

According to Azerbaijani Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies, the meetings will last 2 days and Azerbaijan will be represented by Isfandiyar Aliyev, the head of the Information Society Department of the Ministry of Communication & Information Technologies.

National standards on information-communication technologies of RCU member-states are planned to be discussed at the meetings.

The participants will discuss the actual issues on application of e-government technologies for development and modernization of RCU countries and meet the strategic documents reflecting general view of establishment methods of information society at the meeting of commission on Informatization.
