
A cascade of the Shamkir hydroelectric power plant generated 192.5 million kilowatt-hours of electricity in January-March compared to the projected 187 million kilowatt-hours, Azerenergy (production and distribution of electricity in Azerbaijan) said.
Roughly 129 million kilowatt-hours of the total volume of the generated electricity fell to the Shamkir hydroelectric power plant.
According to the information, a cascade generated 85 million kilowatt-hours of electricity in March this year or 3 million kilowatt-hours more than it was predicted. Roughly 57.4 million kilowatt-hours of the total amount of electricity generated by a cascade in March fell to the Shamkir hydroelectric power plant.
The cascade consists of two hydroelectric power stations - Shamkir and Enikend.
