Possibility to expand export of Azerbaijani goods to OIC countries discussed in UAE

24 to 26 April, the Sharjah City (UAE) will host XIII OIC Expo Exhibition, which also exhibits Azerbaijani food and agricultural products, the Ministry of Economic Development of Azerbaijan reported on Monday.

The stand, allocated for Azerbaijan, also represents a variety of materials that demonstrate the business and investment opportunities in the country.

The exhibition is organized with the support of the International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation, and with the organizational support of the Islamic Centre for Development of Trade and the Chamber of Commerce of Sharjah.

The main purpose of the event is to support economic development in member countries of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC), strengthen cooperation and investment opportunities in trade, develop relations between business people from member countries.

The exhibition was also attended by representatives of the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO).

As part of the exhibition, the Islamic Chamber of Commerce held XIV Forum on private sector development in Islamic countries and investments in joint ventures. " During the Forum, the representatives of AZPROMO hold bilateral meetings with relevant organizations, a number of OIC member countries, discuss opportunities for expanding exports of Azerbaijani products.

Azerbaijani economy, favorable business and investment opportunities created in the country will be presented at the Forum on April 26.
