Azerbaijan announces investment projects to develop Tovuz region

The Azerbaijani Economic Development Ministry’s National Entrepreneurship Support Fund has started to receive investment projects from entrepreneurs to develop the Tovuz region.

In accordance with the socioeconomic development program for the country’s regions in 2009-2013, an event was held in Tovuz on April 15.

Talks were held with entrepreneurs to more effectively use the available economic capacity within the meeting. Proposals will soon be submitted by entrepreneurs to fund investment projects in the following directions:

- intensive planting of vineyards, or creation of young plant farms

- creation of farms for seed potatoes production

- creation of greenhouse complexes using modern technologies.
