ADB to increase investments in private sector of Azerbaijan

Asian Development Bank intends to have a look at the investment opportunities in the private sector of Azerbaijan, director of bank’s Azerbaijan representation Olly NOrojono informed.

According to him, ADB operates in mainly 3 sectors in Azerbaijan. These are power engineering, water supply and transport: "Along with this, we also operate in private sector and the bank will have a look at the new opportunities in private sector in 2011".

He also noted that, ADB’s assets on Azerbaijan make $ 680 mln.
