Azerbaijan decreases oil and gas extraction

In January-March, Azerbaijan decreased oil and gas production in comparison to analogical period of 2010, State Statistic Committee reported.

Thus, 12 mln tons of oil and 6,3 bcm of gas were produced in the country during the reporting months, down 2,4% and 3,1% compared to the previous year: "Nevertheless, production in mining sector rose 1,3% compared to the last year".
