Social insurance premiums collection rises 15% in Azerbaijan

Population’s money income rose 16.8%, average monthly salary – 11.7%, in January-March, 2011, Chairman o State Social Protection Fund Salim Muslumov informed.

According to him, growth of population’s per head income exceeds the inflation by 7.7% points: “This, including stable situation in budgetary and non-budgetary sector influenced the insurance-pension system, positively”.

According to preliminary information, SSPF’s income rose 19% or AZN 83 mln to AZN 521 mln. According to Salim Muslumov, the social insurance premiums increased by 15% or AZN 35 mln to AZN 270 mln. 58.2% of social insurance premium came from non-budgetary organizations, up 17.3% or AZN 23 mln, compared to a year ago.

He also noted that, premium from individuals soared 24%, from land owners – 40%.

AZN 250 mln entered the SSPF’s account as budget’s transfer.
