Tender winner of construction of shipyard to be announced in late April

A winner of the tender on construction of the shipyard will be announced late April, said chief of Azerbaijan State Oil Company (SOCAR) Rovnag Abdullayev.

The construction of the shipyard will come to 450 million dollars. The first ships will be put into commission in 2013. SOCAR needs in more than 100 ships to carry out oil and gas operations within the next 15 years.
