
In April 2011, Hyundai will launch shipping for the export of cars assembled in Russia. General Director of "Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Rus" Chhon Gvi Il told journalists that this refers to C-Class sedans Hyundai Solaris, produced at a factory in St. Petersburg.
The contract was already signed for the export of the cars to neighboring countries including Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Moldova, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan.
For 2011, Hyundai plans to export 7.8 thousand Russian Solaris which makes up 7, 5% of the total output of the St. Petersburg plant, autonews.ru reported.
Chhon Gvi Il added that the export of Hyundai cars to the CIS will not include customs duty since the added value to their production in Russia exceeds 50%. Plant "Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Rus" plans to increase the number of countries - exporters of cars Hyundai.
