Azerbaijan affirms guarantee and liabilities on contract about Shafag and Asiman fields

Azerbaijan has determined the liabilities and guarantee of government in the contract about Shafag and Asiman fields.

Cabinet of Ministers has passed a decision on guarantee and liabilities of Azerbaijani Government to the contract on "production sharing, exploration and exploitation of Shafag and Asiman fields in Azerbaijan sector of Caspian Sea".

Note that, this contract was signed by SOCAR, BP Exploration Operating Company Ltd, and SOCAR’s Joint Oil Company o October, 2010.
