Azerenergy's distribution networks consume 1.2 billion kilowatt hours of electricity in Jan.-Feb.

About 1.2 billion kilowatt hours of electricity were consumed by distribution networks included in "Azerenergy" (generation and distribution of electricity in Azerbaijan) in January and February.

The total payment for electricity was 76%, the company said.

According to the information, the population consumed about 456.5 million kilowatt-hours or 16.4 million kilowatt-hours less compared to the same period of last year. The payment increased by 10% and amounted to about 80% compared to the same period of last year.

About 567.5 million kilowatt-hours of electricity was consumed in February this year. The population consumed about 221.6 million kilowatt-hours of electricity. The total payment hit more than 79%.
