Indian ambassador to Azerbaijan: “Trade turnover between the two countries develops in favour of Azerbaijan”

Trade turnover between Azerbaijan and India continues to develop, Indian ambassador to Azerbaijan Debnath Shaw said.

According to him, the trade turnover between two countries made $ 340 mln, in 2010, while it was $ 50 mln in 2005-2006.

Ambassador noted that, sometimes, trade turnover developed in favour of Azerbaijan: "The amount of goods exporting from India to Azerbaijan makes $ 30-50 mln, per year. At the same time, India intends to increase the export to Azerbaijan".

He also noted that, India mainly imports crude oil from Azerbaijan.
