Azerbaijan to attend RCU meeting

On April 1, 2011, the 32nd meeting of Regional Communication Unit’s Commission on Postal Communication and the 21st meeting of RCU Postal Communication Operator’s Council will be held in Almaty.

According to Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies, sustainability, completeness and safety of postal service, issuance of joint post marks, including establishment of express-post system and other directions will be discussed at the meeting.

On March 29-31, a seminar devoted to issues on regional approach to the support of post operators in the places within the “Increase of service quality” Strategic regional project of World Post Union will be held.

Azerbaijan will be represented by the head of the Post Department of the Ministry of Communications & Information Technologies Novruz Mammadov.
