10 small WPSs to be constructed in Azerbaijan this year

Ten small Water Power Stations will be constructed in Azerbaijan, this year, Azerenergy Vice-President Marlen Asgerov said.

According to him, the stations will be put into operation by the end of 2011. The capacity will be between 1.5 MVt and 20MVt. Total capacity of stations will be below 100 MVt.

He also noted that, Cenub Power-Station will be launched by the end of 2011.
