Businessmen received AZN 700 mln in soft loans

The National Entrepreneurship Assistance Fund allocated about 700 million manats in soft loans in 2004-2010, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said at a conference on the results of the second year of implementation of the state program on socio-economic development of regions in 2009-2013.

President Ilham Aliyev underlined the loans had boosted the private sector, describing the repayment of loans as a good trend. He noted repaid loans are diverted to lending again.

The private sector will receive AZN 125 mln from the Fund in 2011.
