Azerbaijan to produce helmets and body armors on the license of “NP Aerospace Jordan” company

Azerbaijan will produce helmets and body armors on the license of “NP Aerospace Jordan” company which is included to Jordan’s King Abdullah II Design and Development Bureau (KADDB), “NP Aerospace Jordan” Managing Director Nabil Issa told APA.

Issa said that the preparation process on it has been finished. According to him, the company and Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense Industry (MDI) WILL discuss the details of the project. As the next step, Azerbaijani side will finish the design works and begin the production.

Issa said that their goods are produced on the basis of NIJ-Standards and these standards are based on NATO standards.

Issa also said that 100% of raw materials will be stocked from Azerbaijan for the production of the goods and considered possible that these products can be sold to other countries. He considered possible the implementation of projects on armoring of vehicles in the future.
