SOCAR commissions repaired social facility in Heydar Aliyev Deep Water Jacket Factory

The social medical facility named after Heydar Aliyev, at the Deep Water Jacket Factory, was put into operation by The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR).

The opening ceremony was attended by SOCAR's senior representatives and factory workers. A symbolic red ribbon was cut by SOCAR First Vice President on Geology, Geophysics and Mining, Khoshbakht Yusifzade, who noted the importance of the facility in controlling the health of the factory's workers.

The total production capacity of the factory runs to 60,000 tons of metal construction per year. In April 1984, the factory reached full capacity. The first supporting block of the deepwater platform was launched from stocks of the factory and was commissioned in August 1985.
