Azerbaijan to introduce online business registration in 2011

The ministry official Vusal Shikhaliyev said the ministry plans to introduce a system of online business registration and tax payment in 2011.

"These innovations are aimed at minimizing loss of time during registration of companies and promoting cashless payment system. In addition, next year we plan to improve the system of appeals to the Tax Appeals Council. We intend to apply the system online application to the Council," Shikhaliev added.

The following year the ministry will launch twinning project of the European Union to introduce a system of electronic tax audit.
