Grain production in Azerbaijan decreases by 25%

Growth has been observed in all other fields, except agriculture in Azerbaijan this year, said Chairman of State Statistics Committee Arif Valiyev.

The Committee Chairman noted that 8-9% of decrease has been registered in plant-growing. However, 6-7% of increase has been observed in cattle-breeding.

Touching upon the state of grain production in the country, Valiyev underlined that grain production in Azerbaijan decreased by 25%. According to him, nearly 2% of decrease has been observed in potato production as well.
