Azerbaijan is negotiating helicopter production with a number of countries, said Minister of Defense Industry Yaver Jamalov.

“The Ministry of Defense Industry is negotiating this issue not only with Ukraine, but also with other countries as well. We received a number of proposals and probably we will make decision in a short time””, said the minister.

Turkey also proposed joint helicopter production. Turkish officials said Azerbaijan and Turkey could work together on the new projects, including ATAK attack and reconnaissance helicopter.
