Trans-Balkan Pipeline B.V. becomes Gold Sponsor of the First International Congress

The international company Trans-Balkan Pipeline B.V., acting in accordance with the international agreement between Russia, Bulgaria and Greece, became a Gold Sponsor of the  International Congress «Integration and Sustainable Development in the Black Sea Region» in Burgas (Bulgaria).

The company is the main contractor for the construction of the Burgas–Alexandroupolis pipeline oil pipeline which is bypassing the Bosporus and the Dardanelles. The pipeline will pass from Burgas (Bulgaria) on the Black Sea coast to the Greek Aegan port of Alexandroupolis. It is meant to avoid the very busy Turkish straits on the way from the Black Sea to the Mediterranean Sea. The oil will be transported by sea from the Russian port of Novorossiysk to Burgas where it will be pumped into the pipeline and on the other end in Alexandroupolis the oil will be again loaded into tankers. The company representatives will organize a presentation for the participants of the Congress and accredited journalists.

The Congress will take place in Burgas (Bulgaria) from December 4th to 6th, 2010. The organizing committee invites all the interested companies to participate in the event.
