Czech-Azerbaijan business forum started in Baku today.

The forum was organized by CEIBC, Embassy of the Czech Republic to Azerbaijan, Chamber of Trade and Industry for CIS Countries of Czech Republic and the representatives of bank, construction, machine-building, automobile production, pharmacology, companies of transport and logistics attend the forum.
The Czech Ambassador to Azerbaijan Radek Matula noted that Czech considered Azerbaijan as an important economic partner and there were great reserves for development of economic relations between Azerbaijan and Czech.
The peak trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Czech was observed in 2008 – 1.12 bln euros. This index decreased by 548 mln euros last year. The trade turnover reached 641 mln euros in 2010, up 127% compared with 2009.
