Turkish foreign trade minister to hold talks in Nakhchivan

Turkish State Minister for foreign trade Zafer Caglayan will travel to the Autonomous Republic of Nakhchivan on Tuesday. A delegation of 125 businessmen and representatives of non-governmental organizations will accompany the minister.

During the visit, Azerbaijan-Nakhchivan-Turkey Business Forum will be held with the participation of businessmen from Azerbaijan, Nakhchivan and Turkey. Caglayan is also set to meet with Parliament Speaker Vasif Talibov of Nakhchivan. He will visit the Dilucu-Sederek border crossing and several industrial facilities in the autonomous republic.

The Dilucu border crossing has begun serving 24 hours a day as of June 2, 2008. According to Directorate of Dilucu Customs, Turkish exports to Nakhchivan amounted to 41.5 million USD and imports from Nakhchivan reached 1.5 billion USD.
