What is Azerbaijan's rank in Global Competitiveness Index?

Azerbaijan has ranked 57th in the Global Competitiveness Index of the World Economic Forum. Falling only behind Russia, Azerbaijan outclassed its Caucasian and Central Asian neighbors in the Index which ranked 139 countries.

Azerbaijan ranked 66th in the Innovation and sophistication factors subindex, 48th in the Venture capital availability subindex and 36th in the Gov't procurement of advanced tech products subindex.
