Azerbaijan decreases grain production

Climate change influences on grain production in Azerbaijan, Deputy Minister of Agriculture Bahram Aliyev said. According to him climate change created problems ijn grain production: “Azerbaijan produced 3 mln tons of grain last year. This met the need of the country for grain, completely. Azerbaijan produced 2 mln tons of grain this year and this is connected with climate change.”

He also noted that 47.8% of Azerbaijani lands were subjected to corrosion.
