Growth is planned in the amount of trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan in 2010, ambassador of Kazakhstan to Azerbaijan Serik Primbetov said at a press conference today.
"The amount of trade turnover between the two countries in the favorable period was about $400 million in a year, in 2007 - $405 million, in 2008 - $465 million, and in 2009 it dropped roughly half - to $236 million due to the global financial crisis and decline in grain supply," Primbetov said.
He said there are positive trends in 2010, "and we hope to reach pre-crisis amount of the trade turnover."
