Azerbaijan's gold production declines

140 kg of gold was produced in Azerbaijan in July 2010 against 222 kg in June, 153 kg in May and 98 kg in January, Azerbaijan State Statistics Committee said. Country's gold production totaled 937 kg in the first half of the year. Azerbaijan produced 333 kg of gold in 2009.

In total, 1,270 kg of gold has been produced in Azerbaijan from July 2009, when gold production was first launched in the country, till August 1, 2010.
