SOCAR successfully works to expand fleet

The company's management has increased the amount of work to modernize and strengthen the fleet to upgrade the technological equipment of the production association "Azerkimya" operating as a new production structure of SOCAR (State Oil Company of Azerbaijan), as well as improve the quality of chemical products to the level of high standards over the past two months.

Since June 2010 SOCAR bought new cranes, large-tonnage trucks, trailers, modern buses and official "Niva" brand cars in June 2010. It should be noted that the leadership of SOCAR focuses on Azerkimya from technical, economic and organizational-structural points of view.  

Major repair began in June on the ethylene-polyethylene plant and other industries. These machines and mechanisms provide chemists with the opportunity to plan their work and prevent downtime.

SOCAR conducted relevant reforms to successfully conduct operations in manufacturing and other areas "Azerkimya". This arrangement proves to be effective especially during the ongoing substantial renovation.

Azerkimya transport department head Ibadet Eynullayev said that now not only technical staff, but every driver, every mechanic must work with more responsibility. None of employees wants to stop working because of equipment failure.
