Bosnia and Herzegovina "interested" in benefiting from Azerbaijan's energy resources

“Bosnia and Herzegovina is interested in benefiting from energy resources of Azerbaijan as we place a particular emphasis on exploring new energy routes,” said Seyfuddin Hajic, who is in Baku to attend the 35th meeting of the Board of Directors of the Islamic Development Bank.

He praised Azerbaijan`s economic development, saying “it is what makes the country attractive from all points of view”.

Hajic touched upon the Azerbaijan-Bosnia and Herzegovina relations. “Our visit is very important in terms of developing our bilateral relations. We`ve had a meeting with Azerbaijan's economic development minister Shahin Mustafayev and discussed prospects for expanding the relations.”

However, Hajic expressed regret over the fact “the economic cooperation between our countries is falling behind what we want it to be.”

“But we do hope that we`ll develop the cooperation. We can build good relations with Azerbaijan in the field of construction, for example,” he added.
