SOCAR opens two new filling stations in Georgia

SOCAR continues to expand its network of petrol stations under the brand of SOCAR in Georgia. Tbilisi hosted the opening ceremony of two new filling stations June 22.
Head of the Georgian Mission of the company, general director of "SOCAR Energy Georgia" Mahir Mammadov attended the opening ceremony of filling stations owned by SOCAR Georgia Petroleum and cut the red ribbon. He wished success to the staff of petrol stations. By opening of two new petrol stations, the total number of gas stations operating under the brand "SOCAR" reached 34 units.

Georgia plans to open about 30 new stations under the brand of SOCAR. SOCAR Energy Georgia deals with distribution and marketing of oil and oil products in Georgia. The company sells oil and gas in the Georgian market. Co-founders of SOCAR Georgia are: SOCAR - 51%, Petro-Trans FZCO - 24,5% and Ivan Chkhartishvili - 24,5%.
