World Bank poised to lend USD 1 billion to Azerbaijan

The World Bank intends to set aside a $1 billion loan to Azerbaijan as part of a new strategy.
The World Bank says Azerbaijan will receive the loan during 4 years. The World Bank will continue funding such projects as road and bridge construction in Azerbaijan. The World Bank has funded 45 projects worth USD 2 billion since 1992 in Azerbaijan.
