The agreements signed with Azerbaijan revived the Nabucco project, Turkish minister of energy and natural resources Taner Yildiz told journalists in Ankara.
According to the minister, as a member of Nabucco consortium, Turkey will have to settle the issues related to the project's sources. The minister also emphasized that the improvement of communications and diversification of energy routes contribute to the role of Turkey in the region.
"We will redouble our efforts to involve Iran and Turkmenistan in this process as well. Now we are discussing the proposal of Korea to build a nuclear power plant in Sinop," the minister said.
