ConocoPhillips Vice President: Azerbaijan correctly uses oil revenues

Head of SOCAR said ConocoPhillips is one of the authoritative oil companies in Azerbaijan. He said ConocoPhilips is a shareholder of Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan main export oil pipeline. Abdullayev briefed on achievements gained in oil and gas sectors of the country and the large-scale energy projects.

Archibald informed about the numerous projects ConocoPhillips implements in Mexico Gulf, North Sea, Canada, Bangladesh and other countries. He noted the company also implements projects in Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan.

“Azerbaijan correctly uses the oil revenues. Azerbaijan is rapidly developing and we are ready to make every contribution in this”, said Archibald.

Vice President added, that ConocoPhillips is keen to explore and develop the fields, including Umid-Babak, Zafar-Mashal and shallow areas of Absheron region.
