SOCAR appoints new vice-presidents

Rahman Gurbanov was appointed the Vice-President of SOCAR on the extraction and transportation of oil and gas, and Soltan Aliyev - Vice-President on ecology, the Company's website reported.

"Along with the development of the company, its structure must be improved," Abdullayev said during introduction of the new vice-presidents.

Rahman Gurbanov and Soltan Aliyev were appointed to the posts on Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev's order on May 12, 2010, SOCAR said.
