EU for expansion of energy co-op with Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan and the European Union in a short period of time have established strong ties on energy questions, the European Union Commissioner for Energy Gunther Oettinger stated on the eve of his visit to Azerbaijan.

“I stand ready to discuss the energy questions in the context of “Eastern Partnership” Program and deepening cooperation”, the Commissioner underlined.

“To reach progress in the direction of the “South corridor” is the pressing one on the agenda”, he added.
