SOCAR Vice-President tasked to monitor implementation of tasks on improvement of governance arrangements in petrochemical industry

Vice President of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) Mukhtar Babayev was entrusted with monitoring of the implementation of tasks arising from the Azerbaijani President's decree on the improvement of governance in the petrochemical industry dated Apr.2, under which the state company Azerkimya becomes subordinated to  SOCAR, according to the company's report..

Today, the company's leaders traveled to the Sumgait city, where the state company Azerkimya is located. SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev gave orders to ensure smooth and uninterrupted operation of existing mechanisms for management of the state company until the process of adjusting Azerkimya in line with SOCAR's governance is completed.
