“But Azerbaijan ensured the development of the relations while opening embassy in Budapest in 2004,” the ambassador said and added that the first meeting of Hungary-Azerbaijan intergovernmental commission had been held recently.

The ambassador said the delegation led by the Minister of Economic Development Shahin Mustafayev attended the meeting and the second meeting would be held in Baku.

Noting that the two countries had good relations in agriculture, Jeno Boros said Hungary-Azerbaijan agricultural forum on the ecological problems would be held in Baku in the second half of the year.

“Agricultural ecology has great prospects,” he said.

The diplomat noted that cooperation in the field of alternative energy had good prospects.

Touching on the energy cooperation Jeno Boros said Nabucco project was not only the issue of energy security of Europe, but also a direct way leading Azerbaijan to Europe.

The diplomat said Azerbaijan and Hungary had broad opportunities for humanitarian cooperation and added that not only friendship helps the development of the relations between the two countries.
