An informal summit of four heads of state in Aktau to take place on Sept.11 will not focus on status of the Caspian Sea and division of the seabed, official representative of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry Erzhan Ashikbayev said.
The Aktau summit will not focus on status of the Caspian Sea. This matter can be debated only with participation of all five Caspian littoral countries on the five-lateral basis, Ashikbayev said.
The meeting of the four countries' presidents will be of an informal character, so the agenda includes a wide range of issues.
The summit does not have a concrete agenda, Ashikbayev added.
The summit will discuss Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev's upcoming Baku visit and realization of strategic projects, such as construction of railway to Iran and construction of gas pipelines to China.
