U.S. interested in Caspian littoral states’ energy summit

Kazakh prime minister Karim Masimov had a meeting with U.S. Department of State Special Envoy Richard Morningstar on Aug. 26, KazTag news agency reported.
The meeting focused on a number of issues on further development of energy cooperation between Kazakhstan and the United States.

“Richard Morningstar said the U.S. is interested in the coming energy summit to be attended by Kazakhstan, Russia, Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan,” Kazakh prime minister’s office said.
