Azerbaijani population ups foodstuff expenditures

Azerbaijani population purchased food and non-food products worth 6 billion manat in January-July 2009, a rise of 8.5 percent from last year, Azerbaijan State Statistics Committee said.
Population purchased foodstuff worth 4 billion manat and non-foods worth 2 billion manat during this period.

The population was offered services worth 2 billion manat in January-July, a rise of 12.8 percent from last year.

About 80 percent of services was rendered to legal entities and 20 percent to physical persons.
