Rise in Azerbaijan’s agricultural production

Animal products grew 2.1 percent during this period. About 117,600 tons of meat, 827,700 tons of dairy produce, 716 million boxes of eggs and 13,000 tons of wool were produced in January-July.

Growth of crop production 2009 was 9.2 percent in January-July.

The country continues to harvest. Grain (excluding maize) of 2 million tons, potato  551,000 tons, vegetables  660,000 tons, fruits 162,000 tons and tea leaves of 288,000 tons were harvested as of August 1.
