Ganja-Kiev flight to be launched

The agreement to launch the flight was reached during talks between Azerbaijani diaspora and Donbasaero airway company.

“Passenger plane with capacity of 180 people will carry out flight from Kiev to Ganja every Monday at day time from August 17. The plane will Ganja for Kiev at 19:30 on Mondays,” representative of World Azerbaijanis Congress in Ukraine Mohlat Huseynov said.

The new flight aims to provide a convenient connection between Ukraine and Ganja, as well as convenient travel of Ukrainians to Ganja, Gabala, Dashkasan and other nearby areas,” he said.  

He said another reason is to attract Ukrainian tourists to Azerbaijan.

“Passengers who arrive in Kiev from Ganja can go to Donetsk, Odessa and other cities of Ukraine with the same ticket. At the same time, Azerbaijani citizens after landing in Kiev airport will be able to go from here to Moscow,” Huseynov said.
