Belarus should set up effective partnership with Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan.
The statement was made by President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko at a meeting with heads of Belarusian overseas institutions on 23 July, BELTA reported.
“It is not the task of the politicians at this stage – we have already done our part. Ministries and concrete enterprises should do this work now,” the President said.
He said Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan have important strategic power resources the volume of which exceeds the scope of their own and traditional foreign markets. These countries are becoming active members of international importance. Taking into consideration this fact, they expect a serious industrialization of their economies.
