Azerbaijan State Standardization Committee: Trade facilities sell goods of unknown origin illegally

It has been found that the trade establishments sell tens of kinds of goods of unknown origin. The imported goods lack conformity certificate of the state committee on standardization, metrology and patents and the goods package does not contain producers, address, date, term of expiry and ingredients.

Currently the lab holds analysis of the samples taken from canned local and foreign products. The results of the examination will be made public.

It was impossible to clarify the origin of non-alcohol drinks, lemonades and sparkling waters of Everest company, as well as producer of dairy products with the Bakinka trade mark. Currently, the supply of production is carried from undefined addresses.
