Caspian Shipping company receives Shusha tanker

The Krasnoye Sormovo shipyard in Nizhni Novgorod (Russia) has recently launched tanker of project 19619 for the Azerbaijan State Caspian Shipping Company into the sea, reports the press service for the MNP group (that includes the Krasnoye Sormovo shipyard).
The vessel was named Shusha (a city in Nagorno Karabakh). The contract with the Caspian Shipping Company on the tanker was signed in June of 2008. The term of the vessel delivery was the end of 2009 under the contract, yet its construction was completed early.

This is the seventh tanker of a deadweight of 13000 tons, constructed for the Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company at the Krasnoye Sormovo shipyard. The sixth tanker Zangezur was delivered in September of 2008.
