Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan cooperation predetermined for many years: ambassador

"Relations between countries are developing at a very high level. Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan are strategic partners. For the last four years we have signed four important documents, which define the nature of our cooperation", the ambassador said.

Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan participate in a range of major international projects in the spheres of economy and transport.

"The international community cherishes hopes for Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan in the energy security in Europe. An energy bridge will be built between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan, which will deliver Azerbaijan's oil to the international market," the ambassador said.

The trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan hit $19.9 million in January-March 2009.
