1421 foreigners get permission to work in Azerbaijan this year

He said 265 foreigners got permission to work in Azerbaijan in April and 135 in May.

"Most foreign citizens in Azerbaijan, legalizing their work, are citizens of Turkey, England, India, Georgia, Russia. They are mostly engaged in the construction and oil spheres", noted Taghiyev.

Notably, in January 643 foreigners received permission to work in our country, in February 191 foreigners, in March 187. On the whole, within 5 months 1421 foreigners got individual permission to work in Azerbaijan.
