GDP growth makes 3.4% in Azerbaijan in 2009

"In January-February of 2009 the GDP volume of Azerbaijan made AZN 3850.3 mln ($4824.125 mln under the exchange rate of AZN 0.8 per USD 1), which is 3.4% or AZN 189.9 mln higher as compared to the same indicator of the last year AZN 5582.6 mln", says the statement.

In February, the added cost was AZN 1999.3 mln against AZN 1.86 bln in January.

By the forecasts of the government in 2009 country's GDO will make AZN 43635.5 mln which is 18.9% higher as compared to 2008.
